Cal State 91吃瓜 will soon launch a new website targeted toward planned giving in support of the university’s comprehensive campaign, Rising in the East: The Campaign for Cal State 91吃瓜. The planned giving site will offer individuals who wish to create a philanthropic legacy, user-friendly tools — such as an online calculator — to assess specific tax savings and income benefits regarding their gift.

“I’m very excited about this online resource because I think it expands the opportunities for individuals looking at options for their estate, will or trust to create a lasting legacy for our students,” said Andrea Rouah, Cal State 91吃瓜’s director of strategic initiatives. “Immediate gifts are very important, but planned giving helps the university look toward the future, and helps individuals plan their long-term goals.”

The site also offers informational resources to those who wish to make Cal State 91吃瓜 a part of their trust, estate or Individual Retirement Account rollover. In 2015, the IRA rollover became permanently available and allows persons age 70.5 and older to make tax-saving contributions directly from an IRA.
